AUTHOR FAVOURITES: UNDER OUTLAW FLAGS by JAMES REASONER

Distinguished and prolific western writer James Reasoner tells me his favourite of his own books is UNDER OUTLAW FLAGS. This is a western that has a backcloth of the First World War.

There’s always been a bit of an overlap between the Wild West and World War 1, of course (‘They Came to Cordura’ ‘The Wild Bunch’ etc.)

Reviewers – 80% of whom give it 5 stars – describe UNDER OUTLAW FLAGS as ‘a wonderful adventure’ and ‘a masterful journey.’

An introduction to AUTHOR FAVOURITES by Andrew McBride

Since November 2016 I’ve been asking authors like myself this question:
‘WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE OF YOUR OWN NOVELS, AND WHY?’

I’ve been posting their replies on Facebook and Twitter, but decided that I wanted to collect all these together on my blog. So I intend to post blogs of AUTHOR FAVOURITES on a regular basis, a couple a week, starting March 31st.

The authors I’ve posted about so far are:
James Reasoner, Johnny Gunn, Patrick Dearen, Stephanie Lam, Lorrie Farrelly, Thomas Rizzo, Doug Hocking, Shayna Matthews, Peter Brandvold, Keith Souter (aka Clay More) Ken Farmer, Robert Vaughan, Arley Dial, Brad Dennison, B N Rundell, Duane Boehm, Cameron Judd, John Putnam, Kit Prate, Jeff Breland, Charles T. Whipple (writing as Chuck Tyrell), Ralph Cotton, Harlan Hague, Mike Linaker (writing as Neil Hunter), Juliette Douglas, Matthew P. Mayo, Reavis Wortham, Raylan MacCrae, Michael Zimmer, Lucia Robson, Tell Cotten, Dave Hardy (writing as David Hardy), John D. Fie Jr., Martin Marais (writing as Martyn Marais), Chris Derrick and Heath Lowrance.

I hope to be blogging about all of them soon!
